About Berlin
The state’s most northerly city, Berlin was once a thriving center for the logging, wood and paper industries. These mills, powered by the Androscoggin River, drew laborers from Scandinavia, Russia, Italy, Germany and other European countries, as well as French Canadians from Quebec.
Today, there are plenty of affordable single and multi-family homes to choose from in Berlin, and the scenery is absolutely breathtaking. The city has become a center for ATV-ing, and it holds the Jericho ATV Festival each summer.
