But they are.

And here they are again in their own display by the registers, just in case you needed further proof of their existence.

Okay, so now that we know they exist. Let me tell you about the chocolate bouquet.

A few years ago, I made a chocolate/candy bouquet for my husband for Father's Day. It was such a treat. I have since made countless bouquets. The thing about chocolate bouquets is that they are fitting for just about any occasion. Or no occasion. How fun is it to just gift a chocolate bouquet for no reason other than to let someone know you're thinking of them. I wish someone would gift me a chocolate bouquet. What are the chances of that?

I chose to use two of each of these varieties of M&M'S® Chocolate Bars in the bouquet (be sure to click on the links to check them out!):

There is also an Almond variety but I felt that 8 bars was the perfect amount for my size vase.

Which variety is my favorite?

I'm a traditionalist when it comes to my treats, so the Milk Chocolate variety is my favorite! It's a milk chocolate bar with M&M’S® minis inside. Yum!

Because these new M&M'S® Chocolate Bars are the perfect shareable size, I'll admit, I'm gifting this one to my husband so we can both enjoy!

How To Make A Chocolate Bouquet Step-By-Step

Secure floral foam to the bottom of a vase. I find the easiest way to do this is to cut it to an appropriate size and use a small amount of hot glue.

Next, you'll want to attach wooden dowels to the chocolate bars. I mostly use hot glue for this, however, sometimes I use packing tape instead. You can use whichever you have on hand.

After all your bars are secured to dowels, start arranging them in the vase. You'll want to push some deeper into the foam than others so you will end up with different heights for the bars.

Lastly, to pretty things up, I rip up some tissue paper and wad them into small balls and push them into the vase. Sometimes I have to use a dowel to get them where I want them. You can also attach some tissue paper to a few extra dowels and place them in the back to give the bouquet a little something extra!

This Chocolate Bouquet is for our anniversary so I chose Red and White which were the colors at my wedding. However, you can really make these bouquets custom for any occasion by simply swapping out the tissue paper colors.
