Nusjuro is a powerful swordsman in One Piece. His sword is also now a confirmed Supreme Grade blade.

However, while the Marines enact justice that the World Government deems is right, they are not necessarily aware of the actions of the World Government and the reasons behind its creation. As such, it is a massive possibility that at some point in the future of the series, fans will see a rebellion brewing within the ranks of the Navy against the World Government, and at this point, it appears that this rebellion might just be inevitable.

The Truth Of The World And The Marines

The World Government Were Created Following The Events Of The Void Century

The Egghead Island Arc changed the One Piece world forever. In this Arc, Vegapunk ended up dying, and, given that he was the smartest man in the world, he had already foreseen this. Vegapunk had also made preparations for his death, and he made it so that a message would start immediately after he breathed his last breath. This is precisely what ended up happening once he was killed, and a message was transmitted to the entire world. This message was Vegapunk's way of getting to the entire world and making them aware of the truth of the World Government, as well as the history of the world.

The 20 Kingdoms joined forces together to create the Alliance and fight Joy Boy and his people!

Vegapunk mentioned some incredible details pertaining to things like the sinking of the world. This is what primarily concerned him. According to him, the world of One Piece is going to sink in the future. He also mentioned how the world of One Piece sank once long ago during the Void Century due to the usage of Ancient Weapons. Now, he believes that the world is on course to sink even further once again and that this day is inevitably going to come.

Vegapunk also talked about the creation of the World Government and how they fought against Joy Boy and his people. Vegapunk painted Joyboy in a heroic light at first, and as such, the alliance that was formed against him and the Great Kingdom, which ended up curtailing the progress of science and technology, made the World Government out to be evil as well. Some of the Marines were incredibly shocked at hearing this revelation. Meanwhile, others found solace in the fact that the individuals that the Government were hunting were pirates, to begin with, so it must have been fine.

However, the most important thing that fans need to keep in mind here is that Vegapunk successfully planted the seed of rebellion with his message. A lot of the Marines started considering their decisions and their allegiances, and it will be interesting to see which way this plotline goes in the future.

The Split Of The Navy

There Are Many Good Guys Within The Navy Of One Piece

The Navy isn't just a single organization where everyone thinks alike. Every individual within the Navy has their own way of thinking, and they all have their own type of Justice. This is precisely why Oda has established and given different kinds of justice to different Admirals. For instance, Akainu is a follower of Absolute Justice, and he would do anything to accomplish the results that he believes should exist. Meanwhile, Kizaru has a sense of justice that very often deliberates. On the other hand, Fujitora is just and kind, despite being affiliated with the Marines. Clearly, all the members of the Navy have distinct personalities and, as such, not all of them would be on the same page as the World Government.

Koby, and everyone, you people are the future of the Navy!

Some Marines would absolutely relish the chance of fighting for the Government and absolutely destroying pirates, no matter who they are. However, some individuals in the Marines will certainly not be okay with supporting evil, and as such, they will most likely turn against the Government when the time is right. The characters of SWORD, such as Koby, among others, are most likely going to be these individuals. Koby is the future of the Marines, however, the way things are currently, he cannot do much, and as such, he should start preparing himself while waiting for the perfect opportunity.

At some point in One Piece, Luffy and the Straw Hat Pirates will take up arms against the Government. Hopefully, by this point, the entire world will know about the truth of the Void Century and will have come to the conclusion that the Government is tyrannical and oppressive. Naturally, when this happens, the Marines are not all going to be quiet. While some would absolutely love this as a sign of Absolute Justice, others with softer senses of Justice will most likely take up arms against the Government as well and start to rebel. This is most likely going to be the most important part of the Marine rebellion in the latter half of One Piece.

How The Navy Will Be Reformed In One Piece

The Navy Will Change Completely In The Future Of One Piece

Come the end of One Piece, fans will most definitely see the Navy being completely revamped. This is simply down to the fact that the World Government is cruel and have their hands soaked in blood. They have led to many wars, one of which is still being fought today. As such, fans will most definitely see the Navy break free from the World Government. However, this break won't be in its entirety. To put it in simpler terms, fans will most likely see a split within the Navy itself. Some Navy members, such as those who believe in Absolute Justice, will most likely side with the World Government. This is because their values are aligned, somewhat.

Others, who believe in a softer sense of justice will most likely break free and rebel. Garp has been raising the next generation of Navy, and he has explicitly called them the future of the world. As such, these individuals will most likely go on to shape the world in many different ways, and fans are incredibly excited to see how that is going to happen later down the line. The likes of Koby, Grus, Kujaku, Smoker, Tashigi, and Hibari, among many others will most likely maintain their positions within the new Navy. This is likely how Koby will move to the rank of Admiral, because the old Admirals will most likely have fallen at some point in the story.

At the same time, those of the Marines who will be vehemently against piracy in all forms and will side with the Government, such as the likes of Akainu, among others, will most likely fall with the World Government. As such, the Navy will be completely reformed at the end of the series, and it's going to be incredibly exciting to see how Oda goes about it.
